I want to welcome you to a new semester. This blog will be the place in which everything that we do in class and out of class will be posted. I suggest that you make this a place to visit daily as new posts about our learning together happens. Above you will notice five tabs: Home, Calendars (8am, 11am, and Mini Term), and Syllabus. The Home tab will direct you to this page. To
the right of the Home tab, you will see the Calendar tab. The calendar
will help you keep track of upcoming assignments and events. On the Syllabus tab, you will find all the details pertaining to your class (click on your class time), such as course description, breakdown of points, and attendance policy.
On the right hand side of the blog, there is a tab labeled, Course Posts. It is here that I have organized my classes based on the meeting times. Once you click on the class you registered for, you will find details about your particular class. I will be posting our daily agenda and also an overview of what we did each meeting day.
During our time together, we will face new learning and new experiences. We will explore the world and our community and as we do this, I challenge you to think about how you play a role in this precious life we have been given. I’m looking forward to this semester and hope that our adventure together brings out the best in all of us. Like someone very dear to me once said, “Adventure is good for the soul.”
